Amy Tang, MS

Lab Manager

I did my undergrad at University of California at Berkeley, majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology with an emphasis in Genetics and Development, and minored in Business Administration. I joined the lab after graduating from UC Berkeley and have been involved in different projects in the lab. I also completed my Master's degree in Cell and Molecular Biology at San Francisco State University during my stay in the lab. My current project is studying the role of Arid1α, a member of the SWI/SNF family that regulates transcription of certain genes by altering the chromatin structure in the developing CNS. In my spare time, I like spending time with my kids for activities such as playing in the park or traveling. When I get my alone time, I like shopping or singing karaoke with friends.
